Off to college

Now it's official, my little girl is in college. Move in date was this past Saturday and oh what a day it was. Her scheduled move in time was 1:30 but when I had called they said we could come earlier. So with my CRV packed to the max we left about 9:45. When we got there, the line of cars wrapped around 6 blocks. It took us almost 2 hours once we got in line. When we got there we were only allowed to unload the car and then go park the car somewhere else. It was so hot and we found out that her dorm does not have air conditioning. After we got everything up to her room we walked 7 blocks to get her a fan. It was so hot that my face was dripping and it was beet red. But we got her unpacked and made up her bed. It was very hard for me to say goodbye. I know how silly that is as she will be coming back home, but non the less it was very emotional for me.
